The making

Made slowly, to be lived with.

Two stacked cushions on walnut balls. Firm enough to hold a tray, soft enough for feet.

The top cushion is set at an angle to the base, so there is a shadow line all the way round. Each cushion is filled separately, which keeps the top flat under weight.

Shown in a brown and ivory patterned weave and in plain ivory bouclé.

Materials. Bouclé or patterned weave over HR foam, two-part cushion, walnut ball feet.

Dimensions. W 66 × D 66 × H 44 cm, seat 44 cm. Dimensions and materials customisable to order.
